My highest score on the RIASEC assessment was Investigative, which tracks, as I tend to be curious about how things are put together. The careers best suited for me, based on my highest score would have to be something in Engineering, Health and Human Services, Law, Government, and Public Safety. Because they are in need of clerical assistance, all the time, working in Law or Government would align with my career goals. Living in Hawaiʻi has helped bring me into contact with different possible Investigative career possibilities and helped me focus on that.

KIERSEY Assessment Scores

According to the KIERSEY Assessment, I have a Guardian temperament; which is described as Factual, Cautious, Dependable, Concerned, and Steady. The Guardian temperament makes up about 45% of the total population. Except for the part about trusting Authority, I would agree with the assessment. If I want to go into government or law as clerical support along the way to paralegal.

Five Year Career Goals and How My Personality Aligns

In five years, I would like to be sufficiently financially independent as to be able to move out on my own while living near enough I can still help my mother. These assessments help in that they directly inform me of potential career paths, that I hadn’t considered, that I would likely excel at, enabling me to earn enough money to properly set myself up to achieve my goals.

As I have been assessed as a Guardian Personality Type with a strong Investigative Aspect, working with a law firm or with the Fire Marshals office as an  office assistant would likely be my best options for career satisfaction and productivity. Not to mention overall happiness.
